New Lungs!!!

Right now as many of you are reading this post, Tricia, is trading in a pair of lungs destroyed by cystic fybrosis for a "new" pair...please pray for her and her family. If you are interested, you can click on the live link here to visit their website.

Tricia's "gift" is a "loss" for another family, kind of bittersweet, isn't it?

Hello! I am so glad you found my blog. I was just thinking about you all the other day and wondering how your move to Georgia went as well! We live in northeast Georgia and are doing well. We bought a house (so much more fun than an apartment!). Ethan is 3 1/2 and Katelyn will be two this summer. Hope to hear from you again!

How wonderful for your friend. I know how bitter sweet new lungs can be. My Mom got a double lung transplant (at Emory) over a year ago. You're happy because now your loved one has another shot at life, but then you realize that someone else had to die to give their lungs. In our case we know that it was a young person and that makes it harder. But, a year later and we are able to enjoy my Mom. You do trade one set of problems for another one. My Mom's new job is taking care of her lungs. But, we're happy she's still here with us!
