Technically, I know that I'll still be out-numbered in my testosterone-filled abode but my 16 year-old neice, Hannah, and her best friend are flying to Atlanta to spend a few days with us this week! Hannah and I have never lived close and so I am really looking forward to the opportunity to get to know her better. Of course, the fact, that I have no daughters makes this sweeter...we can shop, have manicures, watch chick flicks...
My brother told me that when the first part of next week comes, I'll be SO glad I have all boys (that was encouraging). As I told him I hope it goes so well, that when she leaves, I'll be sorry she doesn't belong to me...

As far as the recipies, send them on! I would love to see some new dishes, as long as they don't include tofu!
98 lbs. Wow.. what an accomplishement. Even w/ me laying off the cokes (not diet) and exercising about 3 times a week, i haven't lost ANYTHING! :(
Oh Well, maybe in time!
I am commenting on here so you can see my response to your comment on my page!! I hope that is ok. To answer your question I was in the same grade as your brother Chris and always wondered what happened to him. And I guess this must be a picture of his daughter? She is beautiful. I graduated in 90. Iva, Tricia, Esther, and I keep in contact often and we try to visit as a family with Dave and Iva as well. We all have My Space pages, but I am the only one with blogspot. I remember Beth Bell....I always thought she was so pretty. Does she have a blog too? Time sure does fly. I really enjoy keeping up on your blog as well, it has been a real encouragement to see your faith shine even in the midst of trials. You are an inspiration.
