March 1 -- I think

This morning Amy is experiencing additional changes in her "good" eye, changes that are not positive. Thank you for your continued prayer.

So good to hear from some OLD friends. I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Every time you (Amy) come to my mind I start to pray for you...Just wanted you to know that we are still holding on with you!

"Could it be that one reason we have great problems is that God wants to show us great solutions? He longs to show us the riches of His grace and the poverty of our own resources. Prayer is uniquely designed to demonstate both truths."
--Dr. David Jeremiah

We're praying for God's "great solutions" and to see "the riches of His grace" through all of this.

Much love,
Rochenda

Thanks for the updates...but please don't ever feel like you "must" do them....just as you are able. I wish I could send some magic your way for Amy's fragile body...but more importantly, will pray for healing and God's Presence to strengthen and guide your family and the doctors. Hurting for you all!!

David and Amy,

We all want to understand God's ways... and we all must confess that "our heads are messed up." Sometimes we want to understand the mysteries of God's providence, to better understand the *whence and the why* of everything that happens.

There is a lot that we can't explain. But I'm sure of this: I'm sure that God wants us to know the depths of his goodness and greatness much more than anything else. That is why I am grateful for the testimony of your faith, and for his presence.

With love and prayers,
Tom

Psalm 77:11-20
"I will remember the works of the Lord, and call to mind thy wonders of old time. I will think also of all thy works, and my talking shall be of thy doings. Thy way, O God, is holy: who is so great a God as our God? Thou art the God that doest wonders, and hast declared thy power among the peoples. Thou hast mightily delivered thy people, even the sons of Jacob and Joseph...Thy way is in the sea, and thy paths in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known. Thou leddest thy people like sheep, by the hand of Moses and Aaron."

Amy, I know right now you cannot see or know where your next footstep will be. I am praying that you feel the Good Shepherd leading and HOLDING you each step. There is not a step He does not know.

Tom is away this weekend but we are united as a family in prayer for you across the miles. All my friends, family and church family are praying for you as well.

David & Amy, We are praying for you both...Our God is Mighty!
I sent a note to Amy's email for David to read. My SIL just went thru something VERY similar to what Amy's facing, Sounds like the same symptoms. Keep the Faith!

God is too wise to be mistaken;
God is too good to be unkind,
When you don’t understand,
When you can’t see His plan,
When you can’t feel His hand,
Trust His heart.

We hope these words don't sound trite in the midst of your difficult and painful trial, but rather offer that they bring comfort to you. We are praying frequently throughout the day for all of you!

Hi guys, I don't know what to write, my nervous tendency to make bad jokes to get our minds off things isn't working. I just read over the past few days of blogs & wish so much there was something we could do for you all. We are still praying & will continue. I am hopeful that we will reread these blogs in the next few months & see the miracles. But for now, please tell Amy we love her & she is on our hearts.
Amy:
Finally figured out how to post to your blog!
We love you Amy Balty; you are a wonderful friend, mother, wife (a great soprano for the Grace mixed quartet) but most of all, a true servant searching after the heart of God.
Mary and I are petitioning God, passionately for His healing touch to your body and to provide "peace" to your mind during this "storm" of your life.
If we were there, Mary would give you one of her famous encouraging hugs, and if I could, I would take your pain from you and ask God to instead, place that pain on my body.
We love you Amy

Precious Balty family,

We are praying for you. Your Whitefield Family is too. I can't imagine how you must feel right now, but I do know that God is faithful and he loves you more than anyone can even understand. While I am praying for complete healing, I am also praying for you to feel His loving arms around you like you have never Him before.

Love,

Yvonne
