It has been forever since I have updated and I am sorry. I appreciate ALL of the calls! Many were taken by my sis because I was just too groggy to talk but she told me and then would remind me because I would forget! And to those of you that I did talk to personally...please don't hold me personally responsible for my comments! :-)
I was admitted last Monday afternoon for IV antibiotics to prevent another episode of sepsis. Tuesday morning I was taken to the OR for a procedure that should have taken 15-20 minutes, at the longest an hour. I was there for over two hours. My doc said that the procedure was tortuous but successful and he was able to retrieve the stone that looks somewhat like the picture I posted. Actually, I remember waking up to someone shaking a bottle with the stone in it and saying, "Look, we got it all!" I was very alert in the recovery room and realized that I had been in for longer than expected and was very concerned that David was contacted. He had been after the surgery and was thankful that he didn't know I was in procedure the whole time. He was hoping that the doc was late.
I did have another stent replaced to help the ureter to heal and it will be removed this Friday.
Okay, enough already, although I would be so ungrateful if I didn't give thanks to my heavenly Father for such an "uneventful" event.
I'll try to post some fun pictures of spring break soon!

That is great news! And it looks like you had a great start to your Spring Break! Stone Mountain is so much fun and of course, we LOVE the beach (otherwise, why would we live 5 mins. away?!). So I am sure that your beach trip will be equally fun and relaxing!
