Oh My Dear Friends!
This morning, as you are aware if you read David’s last blog, a small church in Oklahoma City had prayer for me as my close friend Twila was anointed in my place. As David and the boys wrapped their arms around me and we 4 prayed with that band of believers, the Sprit of God hovered close to our home at about 11:00 AM this morning. Mrs. Troyer spoke to the congregation about how she had prayed for me during the night as she would for one of her own daughters, and admonished us/them to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment. I felt so humbled that the Troyers, who have not seen nor "known" us for years, would so powerfully trust Jesus for my healing.
And I thought of you.
I thought of you who have called and written or commented on my blog that you, too, are praying. I thought of Sandi H’s comments a few days where she and others were being my rope holders. You, too, touched the hem of Jesus, or maybe, like Sandi, chose to be a "rope holder."
There are no words that can express my appreciation to you. I wish I could reach though the computer that journals these thoughts and look you in the eyes and say, "Thank-you, I appreciate you," and "the prayer of the righteous availeth much."
Today, my left eye sees! It does not see normal, but it sees. For example, when this infarct (clot) process began, I could only see light and NO distinguishing of detail (even large detail) at all. My vision prior to this event was probably close to 20/30 without any treatment. At my first visit, I could barely see the large E and that only with great distortion. Last week’s visit, I could the second E with distortion.
Today I can read the large print on a Pepsi can or the words on our Turbo Tax box. I can see the 8x10 facial picture of Samuel that hangs in his room. I can read my plastic cup that says "Emory Healthcare" with print that is approximately ½ inch high. I can read most of the Starbucks on my coffee cup. I can read the cover of a book! I could go on and on!!!
I still have a lot of distortion in small print (like my computer) but I am certain that God IS ABLE for these as well. My balance is still slightly affected as well but God IS ABLE!
So for today, I want to share this blessed news with you. Please continue to pray that the doctors would be amazed at this progress, and I will be able to share how God has answered prayer! To God be the Glory GREAT things he has done!

That is great news! I was actually able to watch and pray today along with the service. Praying that God will continue the work He has begun!

Hi to David, Zachary, Samuel and Seth also
Steve and Onita
vs.7 " Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the Lord has been good to you." May God continue to strengthen and touch you.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." He has not forgotten you, nor will He ever!! We will continue to pray that your eyesight will get better and that the Lord and His awesome power will be seen through you by your doctors.
It is wonderful to hear how God has taken care of you and your family. He certainly has all of you "in His hand." Dorcas and I are continuing to pray for you all. God bless.
